The Startup Gardener

I am the startup gardener
I clear the weed, you know
You heard my latest poem
On no radio.

Today I am no champion
I only have one heart
I have no name, and I know the game
I won’t be here in twenty year
Whether not I make the art, ooh ooh oh.

‍

I am the startup gardener
I bring to you my song
I’d like to spend a day or two
But I’m too much for that long

Naw, I got to do the books
I got to do these lines
Gotta spread my seed
Into brains we feed
We’ll see how many times
‍

I am the startup gardener
And this is where we start
We give you a gift
Then we share with you our art

Its just a conversation
No place else to start.
The system shows us what to see
Is what is how it should be.
Each week, you know, The Art.

I am the startup gardener‍
I sit above the cage
A story telling system
A new way for the age.

Today I am no champion
I only have one heart
I have no name, and I know the game
I won’t be here in twenty year
Whether not I make the art, ooh ooh oh.

Me: What do you think about that ChatGPT?

GPT:

This poem is the essence of “The Entertainer” turned it into a commentary on startups and entrepreneurship. “Startup Gardener” brings in that fresh perspective on balancing passion and the nitty-gritty of running a business. Love how you throw in doing the books and data; it’s like the behind-the-scenes stuff most people don’t think about when dreaming up a startup. The focus on storytelling and art gives it that soulful touch

Some seeds spout

Some seedlings glisten

Some will fail

To all we listen

Plants will grow

And flowers bloom

Then more seeds

So make some room.

VCs like sheep

They overfund

They go Bo Peep

So over done.

It’s just a little story

To free just you and me

To imagine a new system

To write a new story.
