A few years ago when we were just getting the business going, I visited Rochester to see my family. My brother and I were talking about BrightZen Systems.

Focus

My brother watched my spin and said

Focus, brother, what’s ahead!

You cannot live attention split

Pick one thing and that is it!

I puzzled, looked, and then I said,

With 50 balls above my head,

Kind sir, it seems you cannot see

A focus on just how to be.

It may surprise you now to hear,

While I took a sip of beer,

One hand is out to catch a ball

The other releases one to all.

The ball that lands in that hand free

Is where attention ought to be.

All the balls are one story.

A kind of focus hard to see.
